To get started you need to visit and create sign up to create your campit account.

Once signed up click on ‘List Your Campsite’ to create your first listing.

Moving on fill all the information and details about your property on the listing page.

The listing page is sub divided into various categories i.e. Description, Price, Images, Details & Camp Rules, Location, Amenities and Calendar. Most of the headings in the categories are self-explanatory. Be thorough and descriptive while filling the information!

In the Details & Camp Rules category make sure to fill in the details about the property such as ‘How to get there’, activities that are possible in and around the site for the campers, any extras that can be provided on the site like firewood or barbeque equipment etc, set the Camp rules in detail – set the check in and check out timings, cancellation policies, whether fire is allowed or not, if the site is pet friendly etc. or not, if the site is pet friendly etc.

After filling the address in the Locations category place the pin manually on the map to reflect the location of the campsite.

Once all the information on the Listing is completed, saved and submitted, the Campit admin will have to approve your listing for it to go live.

If your property is a large campsite offering varied types of accommodation then create multiple listings under one profile.

You can edit the information on your listing at any time by going to my properties in your profile.

Now you are ready to go live!
