Birchbank is a Lake District farm on the fells between Coniston Water and the Duddon Estuary. It offers beautiful views of Coniston Old Man and the Furness fells or the Duddon Estuary from the many bridleways and pathways which go through the farm and surrounding fell with only birds and sheep for company.
It is a small grassy site next to the farm with a gate onto the open fell, it has a flat terrain mostly with a beautiful stream running along one side of the farm. There are always children playing and having fun in the stream. We have only 8 electric hookups hence be sure to book one in advance. The site also has a hard standing area.
Caravans, motorhomes and tent pitches are all welcome. We are only a short walk away from the Cumbria way. Birchbank is a perfect campsite for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.
